Rev. Scott Lindenberg
My wife Jill and I are excited to be in Hancock. I grew up near Bay City, Michigan, and worked with my parents in a family business, and also as an engineer with Delphi Steering, before feeling called to ministry. I have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Saginaw Valley State University, and masters of divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. I served previously at Ishpeming Wesley and Saginaw Ames United Methodist Churches. Jill and I have been married for 34 years, and have three adult children: Spencer, Parker, and Lauren. I like to be out in the community, so I work from K.C. Bonkers, 5th & Elm or the Houghton Library some afternoons. Jill and I enjoy mountain biking, kayaking, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, camping and backpacking, so if I’m not at church, look for me on the trail or on the water. I’ve enjoyed meeting people in the community and on the trail, and look forward to being in ministry in the Copper Country.
