Hello, 

I am Pastor Shin, who has been serving since July 2024. To briefly introduce myself, I grew up in South Korea as the son of a Methodist pastor, was ordained as a pastor in the Korean Methodist Church, and came to Claremont, California, to study Theology. After that, while serving at the Korean United Methodist Church in Detroit, I became a member of our denomination.

My family includes my beloved wife, Cindy, and my two sons, Mark and Steven. I believe that my family is a gift from God.

In that sense, the church is a home where God’s children gather. Therefore, the church is your home. You are always welcome to come. I have much grace from God to tell you. The Hancock family is waiting for you. Please come and hear the grace from God that we have received, and share the grace that you have received. If there is a church nearby, you are welcome to worship there. Because all churches that confess Jesus as my Savior are one.
